How to cook potatoes in a cooking bag in the oven?
“And why choose cooking in a bag?”: many of you may be wondering! Well, we prefer to leave the suspense… You’ll discover it for yourself by trying it, but we’ll give you a little hint: these oven-baked potatoes in a bag are tender on the inside with a golden and appetizing crust on the outside. The spices and garlic add a hint of spiciness and flavor that will amaze your eyes and make your taste buds soar.
- 1 kg potatoes
- 2 to 3 garlic cloves
- 50 ml olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/5 teaspoon rosemary
- Salt and pepper
Preparation and cooking
Wash and peel your potatoes with love. Are your potatoes small? No problem, leave them whole or cut them into quarters!
Arrange your potatoes in a shallow dish and season them with salt and spices.
Add one or two small pressed garlic cloves for more flavor. Pepper your potatoes and drizzle them with a good amount of olive oil. Sounds promising already, doesn’t it?
220°C, that’s the temperature we recommend for preheating your oven. In the meantime, mix everything well so that the spices and oil coat the potato pieces. Put everything in a cooking bag and voilà, it’s time to put it in the oven! Let it cook for 30 to 35 minutes.
Is it done? Perfect! But to roast your potatoes and make them crispy on the outside, you’ll need to take out the cooking bag and open it before putting everything back in the oven again.
Then, take them out of the oven once they have taken on a beautiful golden color. Arrange your beautiful potato wedges on a plate, and garnish them with fresh dill… Enjoy with your family while it’s still hot!
