Shauna Rae is a 22-year-old woman who says she is “imprisoned in the body of an 8-year-old child”.
When Shauna was only 6 months old, a very aggressive cancerous tumor formed on her head. After surgery and two to three years of chemotherapy, Shauna was found to be cancer-free.
However, doctors later discovered that his pituitary gland was almost completely inactive, which reduced the production of his growth hormones.

“I was put on growth hormones, but unfortunately the doctor told me my growth was over,” Shauna said. “My bones were welded at 16. So it wasn’t until I was 16 that I realized I wasn’t going to be normal. At that moment, the world almost collapsed. »
“I want people to treat me like an adult”
Now 22 years old, Shauna is 1.17 meters tall and weighs around 23 kilos. However, what Shauna craves more than anything is a bit of independence.
“I want to live my life like my friends and my sisters and I want my mom, my dad and the rest of the world to treat me like an adult,” Shauna said.
“My love life sucks”
People immediately fell in love with Shauna and her new show due to her humor and goofy personality. However, there is one thing that seems to bother a lot of people: his love life.
“My love life kind of sucks,” she said. “I think I went out with seven people. I attract bad guys. You see? The typical bad boys. And the idiots! My last relationship ended because he didn’t want to go to restaurants with me or go out and walk with me. And those are the kinds of things that I see as red flags. »
Shauna’s two sisters decided to help her out by creating an online dating profile for her. However, Shauna admitted that she worries about the type of men who might be interested in her, the fact that she looks like a child.
“Attraction to children is a problem”
There are a lot of bad things that can happen when someone wants to date me,” Shauna explained. “Child attraction is a problem. And there were times when I attracted that. They weren’t always perverted old guys, but sometimes they were, and other times they were younger. It’s just unhealthy. »
Shauna’s father-in-law also opened up: “The problem with online dating is that you don’t know what their intentions are. Are they allowed to approach within 500 meters of a primary school? These are serious concerns for me.”
